Two design industry pioneers and innovators, Perla Lichi and Steve Zelman, have joined forces to launch Lichi-Zelman Style Interiors, a full service interior design firm. With locations in New York and South Florida, Lichi-Zelman services a broad range of high-end residential and commercial clients in the US and abroad.
The two award-winning designers, respectively, have been responsible for some of the most prestigious and high profile home and commercial designs featuring unique environments that are aesthetically pleasing, practical and functional.

Steven Zelman’s love for interior design began when he was just 16 and helped his mother design a family loft in New York City. Since then and over the course of the last two decades, he has built several successful interior design businesses. He was a principal at Fine Design Interiors, one of South Florida’s most respected and successful design firms which he eventually sold to Robb and Stucky, where he served as president until forming Lichi-Zelman Style Interiors. Zelman’s design firm was the recipient of Décor Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award and numerous first place FAME Awards from the Builders Association of South Florida (BASF). Zelman is frequently quoted by the press as an industry expert.

A major force in US and international interior design, Perla Lichi specializes in art history, color and space planning with a focus on classical detail and architectural elements. A seasoned professional, she brings passion, talent, and a hands-on approach to every client who commissions her own firm, Perla Lichi Design, her Dubai affiliate, Perla Lichi Gallery, and now Lichi-Zelman Style Interiors. Among several other prestigious organizations, over the course of her career Lichi is now or has been a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Latin Builders Association, and the Building Association of South Florida (BASF). Over the years she was the recipient of a record number of Florida’s BEST Awards, including Best of Show finalist award, twelve PRISM Interior Design Awards from the Gold Coast Building Association, and many other recognitions.
