Ft. Lauderdale, FL (USA) February 14, 2009 – The Pittsburgh Steelers weren’t the only victors at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa recently.

Perla Lichi, the world renowned interior designer, was featured in a two-page spread in the Super Bowl issue of “Off the Field Magazine,” a publication of The National Football Players’ Wives Association.

The article entitled, “Pro Athletes Go for the Golden Perla Lichi Touch” highlights Ms. Lichi’s many achievements and specifically her expertise in designing for corporate CEOs, professional athletes, doctors, lawyers, financial executives, other professionals and royalty. At the breakfast banquet and fashion show, and later at the Gifting Center and Diamonds and Pearls gala, the Perla Lichi Design staff including Saari Cohen and Janet Verdeguer of the Marketing Department and Yildiz Ingram, one of Perla Lichi’s top designers, worked closely with Octavia McDougle, founder of Locker2Locker, an exclusive web marketplace created for professional athletes and their wives. The wife of NFL Stockar McDougle, Octavia is an up-and-coming national leader among NFL wives and the Off the Field organization.

Executive Producer Michael Gillespie organized the Off the Field Awards Banquet and Fashion Gala for Charity in Tampa, Florida. The theme for the event was: “Life Off the Field, Celebrating the Beauty Within.” When show organizers saw the caliber of design work that Perla Lichi Design creates, they suggested that her high end interior design services might qualify for the prestigious group of sponsors that also included Tiffany & Company and Dior.

In her second coffee table book, “You Too Deserve Beautiful Rooms,” Ms. Lichi profiles the homes of four professional athletes that she designed, including Sydney Ponson of baseball fame; NFL’s Jerome McDougle and Tebucky Jones, and basketball’s Keyon Dooling.

Perla Lichi is the author of several books including “You Deserve Beautiful Rooms” and “You Too Deserve Beautiful Rooms.” A third volume, “More Beautiful Rooms,” was published this fall. Perla Lichi’s work has been widely published in prestigious international design and lifestyle magazines including Florida Design, Architectural Digest, OT, Luxury Living, Dolce, Casa y Estilo, Florida Travel & Life, Al Baraque, Arabesque, Property World, Salon (Russia), and many others.

Perla Lichi is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and a Florida state licensed interior designer (ID 1727).
