Client Profile - Perla Lichi Design was commissioned by NR Investments, Inc., to design the grand entrance and lobby for downtown Fort Lauderdale's first office condo.

Design Details - A combination wood-and-metal balustrade with green marble inserts on the second floor landing sets the tone for the modern look that resonates throughout this entire grand lobby. Three tapered, center-banded wood pillars that extend upward from the custom reception desk support a wooden canopy above the desk while visually linking the two levels. Random square wood inserts that were used to create the unique ceiling treatment complement the entire lobby decor. A custom marble floor punctuated with small square inserts overall is highlighted at the center by a dramatic compass rose. Flowing floor-to-ceiling custom semi-sheer draperies effectively diffuse daylight without blocking the downtown Fort Lauderdale view and the art museum next door.
