Perla Lichi Design Launches Hospitality Division

This versatile, globe-trotting Florida-based designer specializes in high end interior design.

Ft. Lauderdale, FL (USA) October 17, 2008 – Internationally known interior designer Perla Lichi, ASID, has announced a new commercial division of Perla Lichi Design that will introduce her signature design touch to high end boutique hotels, restaurants, public spaces, and more.

“We are expanding into the commercial market,” Ms. Lichi stated. “Many people already know our signature style that is characterized by meticulous attention to detail. We are always trend setters, always ahead of the pack. Yet we are also known for our flexibility in style and budget while achieving award-winning results.”

“We are extremely versatile and have worked in almost every design genre, but we are primarily known for our highly detailed all custom high end residential work. We have always had a steady stream of commercial jobs, including lobbies, condo hotels, public spaces and model merchandising. Now we are aggressively marketing to the commercial market and letting the decision makers know that we are ready, willing and able to tackle their projects.”

Over the last three years, with a major expansion to the Middle East and the formation of Perla Lichi Design Dubai, Perla Lichi Design has put together a staff of experienced, international architects and designers. Their primary target has been villas and palaces, hotels and condominiums in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah), in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and throughout the region.

Perla Lichi is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and a Florida state licensed interior designer (ID 1727). Perla Lichi is an allied member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association and a US Green Building Council Member. The company is headquartered in a 22,000 sq. ft. office and showroom in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The client base is anchored in South Florida but includes residential clients around the USA and around the world.

A native of Mexico City, Lichi moved with her family to South Florida, where she earned her design degree from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and opened Perla Lichi Design. She is the author of several books including You Deserve Beautiful Rooms and You Too Deserve Beautiful Rooms. A third volume, More Beautiful Rooms, was published this fall. Her high profile clients and design projects have included successful people in all fields of endeavor, including sports. She has designed homes for basketball’s Keyon Dooling, football’s Tebucky Jones, and was recently commissioned to design the interiors for a penthouse in Sarajevo for Bosnia soccer star Emir Granov. Ms. Lichi’s affiliate office in Dubai provides a local base to service her widening array of international clientele, including royalty.
