Client Profile -A professional football player and his wife and child decided their permanent dream home would be near the wife’s family in Connecticut.

Design Details -
The architecture of this hilltop mansion was very rich with detailing. Where possible this was enhanced with faux painting techniques to emphasize the home’s inherent beauty. The foyer leading to the living room features a grand staircase and floor-to-ceiling windows. Flowing fabrics add a sense of warmth since "taming the large spaces" was a major design problem, as well as maximizing the magnificent views of rolling hills visible from many of the rooms including the living room. The grand scale of the furniture combined with rich woods and coral, merlot, sage and gold colors successfully created a great place for this family’s 6,000 sq. ft. "dream cocoon."
